I always assumed these Herb Alpert albums were corny lounge, but I never listened to them! and thought, maybe they have some latin groove to them.  I found some copies that were in really nice condition, and thought I'd finally give them a listen.  They're corny lounge!  So good. The band is tight as a woven basket, and I'm pretty happy with the way they are, the band in fine form working their way through this enjoyable and groovy set.  It's amazing that he was able to start this indie label and take over the world.
