What is it about Surf Rock that keeps us coming back? Forgive me, for it’s just hit me, it’s all about the music. Listening to Surf Rock the mind doesn’t concentrate on what is said or sung or any point being made, whether social or political and with no video stimulation our own mind is the landscape of imagination.

 Los Del Vipers is 1^st class Surf Rock with lots of Mexican flavours, and listening to this record both sides it is hard not to drift into Spaghetti Western landscapes brushing up against the cactuses. Thick with reverb and synthesiser but above all well written tracks. This uptempo vinyl blast matches the clever sleeve art, smooth, slick and tempting, reflecting something that is wilder and gracefully dominates majestically.  -- James Dixon
