1969 lounge rock album, running through the hits of the past few years, Beatles, Donovan, Simon & Garfunkel..."Black is Black" (I forget who did that)...quite predictably quite awful...I love how the guy asked to do the liner notes even notes "Jeff, take a trip, don't play the flute.  Nobody needs the flute."  At least, it's not like most fluists of this era who try to show off their annoying talents on the instrument, people like Herbie Man, etc., and the people involved understand to bury much of the flute playing under arrangements, which often sound baroque to me (but I'm not really sure what that word means).   Those lounge white-bread small-chorus vocals sometimes come in, which makes it so dated.  (People use that as an insult, but I tend to use it as a compliment).  Some of this approaches moderately cool, but this one is for fans of lounge versions for 1960s pop/rock.  I just happen to be one of those idiots.  Just lose the flute!  -- winch
And the suggestive jacket art is hilarious
