As the sleeve suggests, this has some Pacific Northwest downtown Seattle late-night lounge charm, the bubbling B3 and Fender Rhodes helping considerably.  Lewis might not be ready for the big time but who cares, the production works, inviting like a living room gathering.  This is obviously the 1970s, Johnny and the band covering Roberta Flack, Lou Rawls, Charlie Rich...side two my favorite side, opening with John Denver and Carole King...take me home...you got a friend...don't you know. -- winch
