Neatbeats – Mercurial [BLUE VINYL JAPAN GARAGE BEAT] – New LP
ROYAL BLUE WAX LTD. ED. JAPAN GARAGE BEAT.
The Neatbeats always nail it, drive that beat home like a Yank convertible racing down the brick backroad! Kick ass mix of Brit beat and American garage. Japanese, broken English and lots of focus on the instruments. -- winch

Sophomore album by one of the best Beat groups ever: Japan’s own Neatbeats!
Though they live in Japan, they get their authentic sound by playing vintage British and German instruments with the energy of today. They are particularly keen on these 12 tracks, five of which were composed by former Death Dealers Takashi “Mr. Pan” Manabe. “Looks So Nice” delivers a driving beat; you can really groove to “Do the Global Twist,” and “Before It’s Too Late” is a melodic tune with rock ‘n’ roll flavor. The last two are original instrumentals of which “Turning Up,” featuring a Vox Continental organ. You’ll recognize the rest as a hot handful of beat standards.
A must for Kaisers fans!
