Wood, Victor – Ihilak – Used LP

Cracklepop copy (it's been to the party but didn't get completely trashed) of 1974 album by this Filipino singer (and politician, actor...) covers Neil Diamond's "Song Sung Blue" but sung in his native language. While fans would not likely like the following comparison, and it's likely dismissive of how he likely comes from traditions of his homeland, calling him a Filipino version of Neil Young might give you some idea of this style. While his vocals take the spotlight, he's backed with some cool instrumentation. -- winch
