"My friend Dean always jumps on my back to name my most favourite record of all time. I own a lot of records, & I have a lot of favourites. But when push comes to shove I think Minor Threat is on the top of that list .
"My neighbours know this is my favourite record, although I’m not sure whether it is theirs.
"This is Hard Core Punk It can only be played at one volume , just a smidgen under distort. Everything lines up with this band. The anger, the freedom of speech, & unlike many they actually had something to say, the relentless punching chords that are at percussion level & presentation. When I bring out several records to play I always play Minor Threat last. Because there is nothing after Minor Threat. I try not to play it too often I don’t want to kill it. But that hasn’t worked. After forty years, the hair on the back of my neck still stands up & the back of my eyes fill with tears.
"What is Punk? Minor Threat is a defining timeless classic. Perfect." James Dixon
