New remastered pressing of Cheap Perfume’s kick-ass debut album, feminist punk, uterus skull on front...if you know the fact that shit needs to be said, and said with a fist, with the women’s voice upfront, give this a listening. If the beginning grabs you, keep going because it’ll keep hold of your throat from go to whoa, keeping the foot off the brakes and in your face from start to finish. In the end, it’s clear that they couldn’t care less what you think, and you gotta love that, that’s the liberation that’s needed in the speakers, what’s needed on this planet, coming at you like a boxing match, springing at you with a fury of punches, working at your head bell to bell, dropping back to let the sting sink in, where you hear that this is a band that knows what they’re doing and they’re not afraid to not give rats ass, saying things that need to be said again, sometimes the message needs repeating and sometimes a Nazi still needs a good beating, Trump definitely still needs roasting, “I’m not your baby...I’m not your bitch...suck my clit!” Go!  Did it, done it, got it, like Jesus H.
