The slick urban pop-soul numbers drift to the background for me, but the midtempo numbers have catchy lyrics, bounce and bass, focused on the vocals but plenty going on to fill the sound and punch home the rhythm, enough sugar to give you a cavity, enough substance to fill you up.  Linda Creed produced and composed some of the material.  Pat Vegas and Lolly Vegas (both from Redbone) composed several numbers.  1977.
