Nox is a tunneling piece for vocals and electronics from two of extreme metal’s most persistent travelers; Aaron Turner (Sumac / Mamiffer / House of Low Culture / Old Man Gloom / Isis) and Daniel Menche (aka Beast).
In the course of 30 minutes the pair commit to a glacial descent from wide, airborne vocals drones and plaintive harmonies to Phurpa-like overtones, widescreen synth dimensions and spectralist noise without ever breaking the spell.
