If I recall correctly, Vacation have developed a sound that runs through their releases but the band also explores different sounds between (and within) albums, and this is a continuation of that, showing that this Ohio outfit is not a band that is going to coast on the momentum of the past, not a band that is going to settle or disappoint.  While maybe urgency isn't the best word to describe this band's version of garage pop and punk rock, this new album does sound fresh, vital and urgent.  -- winch
