2003, from Kentucky...or SF...or Mass...cowpunk for lack of any better description, if some rockabilly sounds show up, they're smashed into the ground and messed around, a mix of focus and chaos, pots and pans around the campfire, noisy and squeeky out-of-tune guitar, tempo sometimes moving along like a horse that can't be lassoed with galloping bass line carrying the raggedy jalopy along, sometimes slowing the wagon for a rough-hewn folk sound, taking outsider folk influences further off the main road, maybe latching onto some mangled influences of VU and Mott the Hoople dragged through Jonathan Richmond and down to the dusty trails of Beefheart desert blues and Arizona cowpunk. This obviously ain't gonna win any awards or raving reviews, and I imagine they don't give a rat's ass  Good for you, buddy.  -- winch
