Jay, Abner - The True Story of Abner Jay - New LP

Regular price $ 15.00 $ 0.00

Classic material from the one and only Abner Jay, brand new pressing with 3 inserts, $15 album housing cuts culled from Abners' self released LPs & 7" featuring classics such as 'I'm So Depressed,' 'Cocaine', 'Vietnam,' & 'The Reason Young People Do Drugs.' Abner Jay was a one-of-a-kind one-man band, played guitar or 6-string electric banjo, harmonica and bass drum and high hat with his feet. A singer/songwriter deserving of a wider listening audience than he received in his day. Great soulful blues, raw and real, recorded in the 1970s. LP includes three inserts (biography, an informative pamphlet about Abner, and classic lyric notes), reproductions of inserts originally designed and written by Abner himself.  Tip on jacket.
