Bird's Mile Home - s/t LP

$ 13.00

NEW. MINOR BIRD RECORDS. Bird's Mile Home play a great punk rock and roll with plenty of twang, tunefulness and guts. Sort of like if err, the Young Pioneers (Richmond, '90s) were a little more country and if they had a cellist. As far as the cello goes, this is generally a terrifyingly bad addition to rock and roll, however Bird's Mile Home pull it off. Genna's a fast enough player, and knows how to add depth to the music, rather than adding a faux classical/sentimental vibe at every turn. This record's loaded with around 17 songs, was recorded at Secret Powers' home base, Club Shmed and is all-told as solid a representation of the twangy punk genre that I can think of. Some of it makes me think of the Minutemen, some of it some others. Long story short, this is 180 grams of guts, tuneful punk, and heart and we dig it.
