Coming off of a pair of killer cassette-only releases (Nervous Birds One and Too), Night Court is back with their debut full-length. Instantly, I get so much feeling listening to this. They don’t sound like specific bands, but they give me the same feeling as bands like Tenement, Lost Balloons, Superchunk… somehow simultaneously filtered through lo-fi fuzz and tight production. This feels like those lost summer days, right when that first beer in the sun starts to clear the cobwebs out of your brain from the night before. Joy and endless possibilities.
