"Two legendary Mission bands, Shotwell (ex-Strawman) and Miami (ex-Hickey, Chickenhead, Los Canadians, etc.), come together to bring you 16 derailed punk anthems of undeniable urgency. Longtime participants in the now famous Mission District generator shows, both bands took some time to record and put out this classically gruff, melodic album in late '98. It's a surly, beautiful dusk with fog descending on the San Francisco streets. A group of punks are beginning to huddle in front of an abandoned department store listening to a biting, brilliant sound as the city crumbles. This is honesty, anger and relevance. Classic San Francisco split from two infamous bands who played street shows because all of the clubs closed down. Tuneful, passionate, and intense song writing from an era that really rekindled spirits and created a whole new set of great bands." -Microcosm
